NLP DIPLOMA

Having a strong bedrock in any discipline forms foundations for competent creative practice. The diploma is the first step in your journey into the world of neurolinguistic programming.  It is the best start you can get in providing a solid foundation to springboard into a new body of knowledge and experience

WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?

The diploma in NLP is open to anyone who has an interest in self-development, self-improvement or the desire to support or help others. It may be particularly appealing to the following:

 

Therapists - Personal Trainers/Physios/Osteopaths etc

if you are looking to add to your current expertise in your profession, improve your communication skills, and grow in confidence and self-awareness, the diploma is a great start for you

 

Professional personnel – Management/Supervisors/Human Resources

If you want to improve your leading abilities, and your ability to manage staff and people around you, then we have something to offer. You could be from a background of business, education, or indeed any profession

 

New to coaching – 

if you would like to dip your toe in the water of coaching and get a real sense of whether this is for you, then the diploma is your answer

WHAT IS THE COURSE CONTENT?

The diploma programme is based on the following criteria.

 

1. Attitude

 

  • You will demonstrate a knowledge of the NLP presuppositions

  • You will be expected to demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of the three legs of NLP

 

2. Knowledge, principles, skills and techniques

 

You are expected to know the following NLP content at appropriate levels of principles, techniques and skills:

 

The History of Neuro-Linguistic Programming

  • How NLP developed and its historical underpinning

 

The Three Legs of NLP 

  • Know in detail what your outcome is (and is not)

  • Have the sensory skills to know when you are achieving it

  • Have the flexibility to change your behaviour until you get it

 

The NLP Communication Model 

  • The filters everyone has through which they perceive events.

  • How an external event causes an internal representation

  • The effect of internal representations on our state, physiology and behaviour

 

Rapport; how to build and improve relationship skills 

  • Matching & mirroring; how people like people who are like themselves

  • Pacing & leading; how to test whether you have built a successful relationship

 

Sensory Acuity 

  • Fine-tuning your senses to better understand the reactions of others (and yourself!)

 

The Feedback Model 

  • How to give and receive feedback positively

 

Well-formed Outcomes 

  • Ensuring that what you think you want really is what you want

 

An Introduction to Submodalities 

  • Understanding how you (and others) think

 

Change of Perspective / NBG (New Behaviour Generator) 

  • A simple tool for solving problems and generating creativity

 

Language 

  • The power of positive language: say what you want to happen, not what you don't!

  • Chunking: the essentials of negotiating

  • Presuppositions: words that create mindsets (if, but, try)

  • Visual, auditory, and kinaesthetic styles, how to recognise them and use them to improve your communication

 

Presuppositions of NLP 

  • Keys to personal development

 

Simple kinaesthetic anchoring 

  • How to "store" your resources (e.g. confidence, happiness, calm) and then regenerate the appropriate resource whenever it is needed

 

An introduction to Timelines 

  • Discover how you personally structure time and how to place a clear goal in your future

 

 

3. Behavioural skills

 

ALL of the NLP skills listed above are required to be behaviourally demonstrated with both self and others.

HOW IS THE COURSE RUN?

The diploma is a four-day face-to-face programme. We are flexible in how we construct these four days and can be relatively adaptable to meet the needs of the delegates. For example, we could run this over two weekends, one day per weekend, or indeed four consecutive days.  In total, you will complete 30 hours of training. The programme is also run online. As above, it is flexible, an can be run as a 12 session night class as well

 

Successful completion of the course is based on a continuous assessment process. You will be assessed on your ability to engage with others, take on new knowledge and demonstrate how you integrate this into your current practice. Included in the package will be some pre-course documentation and work, daily reflections and a seen assessment

The online programme is at an introductory price of £400

 

On successful completion of the course, you'll receive your official INLPTA certification. All paperwork and certificates are covered by the fee that you pay.  This qualification can contribute to your continuing professional development requirements, and is recognised as being the best quality training that can be obtained in NLP
